Your information and how we use it.

This page explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. This website is operated by SMJB Consulting LLC, doing business as SMJB Implementation Group. We’re based in Miami, Florida.

Browsing this website

This site has no advertising pixels, no tracking cookies and no analytics scripts in its pages. Fonts and images are served from our own site, not from other companies. Our hosting provider, Netlify, processes basic technical information, such as IP addresses, the pages requested and the time of each request, to deliver and protect the site.

Booking a call

Booking buttons take you to Calendly, our scheduling service. Calendly isn’t built into this site and doesn’t load until you click. When you book, we receive your name, email address, the time you chose and any answers you give to the booking questions. We use them to prepare for and hold the call. Calendly handles your information under its own Privacy Notice.

Email

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include. We use it to reply and to follow up on your request. Our email runs on Microsoft 365, which processes messages as part of delivering them.

Clarity Check calls and Snapshots

On a Clarity Check call, we ask how your business handles inquiries, quotes and new clients. We use your answers to prepare your Snapshot and recommend next steps. Notes from the call stay private and are used only to work with you.

Your Snapshot is shared through a private link that’s hidden from search engines and expires after 60 days. You can ask us to delete it, and your call notes, at any time.

Please don’t share passwords, Social Security numbers, card numbers or bank account numbers on a call or by email. We never need them for a Clarity Check.

When you become a client

We use the information you share, including access to your tools, only to do the work we’ve agreed. You keep administrator control of your own accounts, and we ask only for the access the work needs. When the work ends, we remove our access when you ask and delete project information we no longer need.

Paying online

If you pay us online, Stripe processes the payment. We never see or store your full card number.

AI tools in our work

The AI tools we use in our work are business accounts, not personal ones. We put client information into them only when the work requires it, and only the information that task needs. Sensitive documents, like contracts or client files, are collected through secure uploads and handled by people; they’re never given to AI tools. A person reviews AI output before it reaches you or your clients.

Who we share information with

We don’t sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only so they can provide that service: Netlify (website hosting), Calendly (scheduling), Microsoft 365 (email), ClickUp (where we manage client work) and Stripe (online payments). Everyone on our team who works on your project gets only the information that work needs and is bound by confidentiality. We may also share information when the law requires it.

Do Not Track

Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. This site doesn’t use tracking cookies or follow you across other websites, so it works the same way whether or not that signal is on.

Your choices

You can browse this site without giving us any information. To see, correct or delete information you’ve shared with us, or to ask a privacy question, email hello@smjbconsulting.com. We’ll take care of it, unless the law requires us to keep something.

We’ll update this page when our tools or practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
